- Why did you join the presenting team at Panjab Radio?
As a Radio presenter, I can make a significant impact on people’s lives by discussing the issues that matter the most. The Panjabi community is like my family and to serve that family, there is no other better platform than Panjab Radio.
- Your achievements outside of Panjab Radio
Indeed, my career has seen me sharing moments with megastars like Amitabh Bachchan and Juhi Chawla and directing the unparalleled Shahrukh Khan. These have been remarkable experiences, gracing my professional journey with unparalleled sparkle. Yet, the achievement I hold closest to my heart is far removed from the glitz and glamour of the film industry.
I once had the privilege of conversing with a businessman who had tasted the bitter pill of failure so profoundly that it appeared to have shattered his entrepreneurial spirit irrevocably. His was a story of defeat, with prospects of recovery seeming dim. Yet, in our exchange, something sparked within him. A conversation transformed into a lifeline, igniting the dormant resilience within him.
Fast forward to the present, just four short months later, and this man stands tall as a beacon of rebound and renewal. His business, once a thing of the past, is now thriving. He is generating thousands of pounds monthly, his goods finding their way across the UK and reaching the shores of the Americas.
That, to me, represents my real achievement. The ability to inspire, to catalyze change, to resurrect hope - that is the power of meaningful conversation, and it is this power that fuels my passion.
- One quirky fact about you
Along with my extensive interactions with global celebrities, God has also blessed me with the ability to play the ‘Algozey’ - an ancient wind instrument akin to the flute.
It's known for its unique capability to produce a continuous, uninterrupted sound, similar to the bagpipes but sans the bag. A melodious connection to cultural roots that offsets the modern, bustling rhythm of my daily life."
