Do you think you have what it takes to be a presenter on Panjab Radio?

Can you speak fluent Panjabi? Are you original and creative? Do you know your Gurdas Maan from your Feroz Khan? Can you offer our listeners something new?

If you answered yes to the following questions, then you may be Panjab Radio material! We are always looking for new and emerging talent and would love to hear from you.

To apply for a radio-presenting job, submit a demo along with your CV and covering letter, which should give us an insight into your personality and explain why you wish to work for Panjab Radio.

Demos should be submitted on cassette, mini-disc or CD format and should contain the following links in both Panjabi and English

• Introduce yourself, the show and Panjab Radio, stating the various ways that listeners can tune into the station
• Back introduce a song and identify the station
• Discuss a recent news topic that you think is of relevance to the Panjabi community
• Introduce a way of interacting with the listeners, no competitions or requests. Be original!
• Thank a caller who requested a song and introduce the track
• Acknowledge the last presenter and thank them for giving the show
